The iconic Bandaska shape by DECHEM Studio was transformed into a painter’s canvas, where Michal Škapa applied his unique visual alphabet. The result is a fusion of tradition and contemporary art, turning the vase into a collector’s object with unmistakable energy.

Produced in Nový Bor glassworks, three original color variants were created, each bearing a distinct signature. Available in a limited number – every piece is an original.

Michal Škapa

Part of the strong generation of Czech writers who emerged on the graffiti scene in the 1990s. He was involved in major crews (DSK, CAP), entered the international scene with his New York subway action, and is closely linked to Prague’s Trafačka. For nearly 15 years he has collaborated with MeetFactory. His practice spans murals, acrylic painting, site-specific installations, and light objects. He co-founded Analog!Bros and collaborates closely with BiggBoss.

DECHEM Studio

Founded in Prague in 2012 by Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Janďourek, the studio merges contemporary design with traditional Central European glassmaking. Known for hand-blown objects, color gradients, and poetic forms inspired by culture and nature. DECHEM regularly exhibits in Milan, London, Frankfurt, and Istanbul, and collaborates with leading galleries and institutions. All their objects are crafted in Czech workshops using traditional techniques – from glassblowing to cutting, engraving, and painting.
