Michal Škapa

Michal Škapa, also known by his alias Tron, is one of the leading figures of the Czech street art and graffiti scene. Over time, his work has expanded beyond urban interventions into the fields of painting, graphic art, site-specific installations and neon light objects.
His distinctive visual language combines dynamic calligraphic forms, explorations of lettering and the interplay between organic curves and geometric structures. Škapa’s artworks often blend the energy of graffiti with a precise, considered approach to composition.
As a former member of influential graffiti crews, he has long been connected to urban culture and alternative visual movements. Today he collaborates with major institutions, creates large-scale murals and regularly exhibits both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
His practice is marked by experimentation, the search for new techniques and responsiveness to architectural space. Škapa stands as an important bridge between urban aesthetics and contemporary art, bringing the vitality of the street into the gallery environment.
