Series of unique vases/objects inspired by the spring garden.

Each vase is handmade, mouth-blown into a wooden mold using czech crystal glass. Hand-cut and polished to the highest gloss. Colored rubies are added to the hot glass to allow a smooth color transition.

František Jungvirt

Frantisek Jungvirt, born in 1996, is a glass artist, designer and glass painter based in Prague. He has experience working for international studios and famous glass brands like a Moser and Preciosa as well as cooperating with private clients too. He works across a variety of projects ranging from art direction to glass design. His work encompasses everyday products, gallery objects, site-specific artworks and limited series. He mostly return to the most classic references of Czech glassmaking which he associate with new impulses. He try to move the technical and visual boundaries of the glass department. He has been awarded several times for his work.

František Jungvirt – Czech glass artist and designer

František Jungvirt (*1996) is a Czech glass artist, designer, and glass painter. He studied glass painting at the Secondary School of Art in Třeboň and graduated from the Glass Studio at UMPRUM Prague under the guidance of sculptor Rony Plesl.

Working under his own eponymous brand františek jungvirt, he explores traditional Czech glassmaking heritage through a contemporary lens, pushing the technical and visual limits of the medium.

His distinctive style features playful experimentation with form, colour, and hand-painted motifs. Jungvirt’s practice spans functional design as well as art objects, installations, and limited glass series.

His portfolio includes designer vases for everyday use and imaginative sculptural pieces filled with artistic sensitivity. He is a member of the Michelangelo Foundation, Northlands Creatives, and Erria Creatives.
