Product detailed description
The Side Flute V vase is a minimal yet character-rich piece by Czech upcycling studio Prasklo. Made from recycled glass and raw concrete, it reflects the studio’s mission to transform discarded materials into poetic sculptural forms. Each piece is fully waterproof and intended for both indoor and outdoor use.
Designed to blend seamlessly into contemporary spaces, the vase also includes two protective pads on its underside to safeguard surfaces from scratches. Its long, narrow profile offers a refined silhouette—perfect for minimalist floral arrangements or as a standalone art object.
Prasklo is an upcycling design studio founded by Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková in Prague. Their work focuses on combining raw cement with atypical glass fragments, including alcohol bottles, crystal offcuts, and broken chandeliers. Each piece is produced entirely by hand in Petra’s studio, resulting in one-of-a-kind vases that preserve the raw beauty of glass even after its original function has ended.

PRASKLO is an artistic design label founded in 2014 by the creative duo Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková. Their work focuses on unique handcrafted vases and objects made from waste glass and concrete. Each PRASKLO piece is a one-of-a-kind original — not a limited edition, but an individual object with its own story.
Their creations are rooted in a fascination with stone as a primordial natural material — its structure, its forms and its transformative potential. The upcycled glass, sometimes sourced from demolished buildings, gains new functional and aesthetic qualities when combined with concrete.
All objects are produced entirely by hand, using traditional methods and without digital technologies. The process is intuitive and material-driven, emphasising the impossibility of controlling nature and the beauty of working within its unpredictable boundaries.
Petra studied at the Secondary Industrial School of Packaging Technology in Štětí and later Object and Glass Art under Jakub Berdych at Scholastika in Prague. Klára first graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University and then studied photography at TAFE NSW in Sydney, Australia.
