Product detailed description
This print captures a hummingbird perching on ginkgo leaves, inspired by a motif from the Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park metro station in Berlin. It is part of Gregor Hildebrandt’s “rip-off” series, which began in 2009. In this series, the works are created in pairs, one as a positive and the other as a negative of the same pattern. The artist uses acrylic paint and his signature magnetic tape, and this print is a continuation of that technique. Limited to 25 pieces, this print is a unique collector's item.
The print is produced using the giclée technique on high-quality Hahnemühle William Turner paper and is part of the exhibition A Blink of an Eye and the Years are Behind Us. Available only for personal pickup, with no frame included.
