Product detailed description
The Kapoke vase is a unique sculptural object crafted from concrete and upcycled glass by Czech designer Petra Švejdarová, founder of the sustainable art label PRASKLO. Since 2014, the brand has transformed post-consumer glass into bold, statement vessels that blur the line between design and art.
Each vase is handmade, signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its singular value. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the vase is fully waterproof and intended to last.
PRASKLO was selected by curators for the Trends 2020 exhibition at the prestigious Ambiente Design Fair Frankfurt, underlining its international relevance. Rather than mass-produced objects, PRASKLO stands for craftsmanship, raw beauty, and thoughtful material reuse.

PRASKLO is an artistic design label founded in 2014 by the creative duo Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková. Their work focuses on unique handcrafted vases and objects made from waste glass and concrete. Each PRASKLO piece is a one-of-a-kind original — not a limited edition, but an individual object with its own story.
Their creations are rooted in a fascination with stone as a primordial natural material — its structure, its forms and its transformative potential. The upcycled glass, sometimes sourced from demolished buildings, gains new functional and aesthetic qualities when combined with concrete.
All objects are produced entirely by hand, using traditional methods and without digital technologies. The process is intuitive and material-driven, emphasising the impossibility of controlling nature and the beauty of working within its unpredictable boundaries.
Petra studied at the Secondary Industrial School of Packaging Technology in Štětí and later Object and Glass Art under Jakub Berdych at Scholastika in Prague. Klára first graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University and then studied photography at TAFE NSW in Sydney, Australia.
