A pair of hand-blown glasses by Lukáš Houdek—elegant, circular, and designed to elevate everyday rituals with a symbolic touch of infinity.

Detailed information

Product detailed description

These exclusive handmade glasses by Czech designer Lukáš Houdek are inspired by the timeless geometry of the circle—viewed here as a symbol of infinity and wholeness. Their sculptural design transforms any table setting into an elegant, modern celebration.

With a generous capacity of up to 600 ml, each glass is perfectly suited for red wine, but also makes a bold statement when used for cocktails or creative drinks. The thin-walled form is hand-blown with care, combining lightness and clarity with precise proportions.

Offered as a set of two, these glasses are crafted at HG ATELIER DESIGN in the Czech Republic. Ideal for gifting or for your own moments of slow living, they bring design, symbolism, and function into beautiful harmony.

About the designer: Lukáš Houdek graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague and co-runs HG ATELIER DESIGN with Filip Houdek. His artistic practice blends product design and fine art, often using glass, light, and irony to challenge expectations. His aim is to give spirit to everyday objects and elevate them into pieces with lasting emotional resonance.

Lukáš Houdek

Lukáš Houdek (*1988) is a Czech glass artist whose work is defined by humour, playfulness and a surprising lightness rarely associated with such a serious material as glass. A graduate of the UMPRUM Glass Studio under Rony Plesl, his sculptures and objects are instantly recognisable for their distinctive character and bold creative approach.

Houdek moves freely between artistic expression and design, exploring themes of pop culture, parody and material experimentation. He embraces both traditional and innovative techniques, often pushing the technical and visual boundaries of contemporary glassmaking.

After his studies, Houdek worked at Moser before contributing to the development of HG Atelier, the glass studio founded by his brother Filip. Together, they create bespoke lighting objects for private interiors and also run the Houdek.Art project, which connects glass design with the world of super sports cars. Houdek collaborates closely with designer Yulin Huang, currently associated with Lasvit.

His work has been exhibited widely — in Hong Kong, Prague, Paris, Milan, New York, Nový Bor, Taipei and many other cities. He has participated in symposia, group exhibitions and notable design festivals, including Designblok, Maison & Objet and the International Glass Symposium in Nový Bor.

Houdek represents a new generation of glassmakers who bring humour, experimentation and contemporary visual culture into the medium, expanding its expressive potential while maintaining strong craftsmanship.
