Young Block is a Czech stationery brand rooted in the desire to create original, handcrafted paper goods full of character and soul. What began as a spark of inspiration from their surroundings quickly grew into a mission to inspire others through thoughtful design and exceptional craftsmanship.

The story began with three founders working from a family home — a house that soon transformed into a workshop filled with paper, glue, and constant experimentation. Entry into the market wasn’t easy: growth was slow, resources were limited, and early progress demanded personal investment. A turning point came when Young Block won a tender for ŠKODA AUTO a.s., leading to long-term collaborations with major Czech and international companies.

As demand increased, the team expanded, the workshop moved, and the brand introduced limited editions that consistently sold out within days. Over the years, the makers at Young Block have processed tens of thousands of sheets of paper by hand. Their work also contributes to charitable causes — for example, a special edition created in partnership with Kapka naděje donates all proceeds to the foundation.

Today, Young Block continues to produce authentic paper objects while promoting their hometown, Litomyšl, as a source of creativity and inspiration. Through the Made in Litomyšl initiative, the brand builds a community of passionate makers and celebrates the spirit of craftsmanship.
