Elmgreen & Dragset: READ
The Read exhibition by Scandinavian artists Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragset celebrated Prague’s literary heritage. It transformed Kunsthalle Praha into a living library and marked their first major show in the Czech Republic. Their practice explores the relationship between art, architecture, and design, infused with wit and provocative humor. Their works have been featured at various biennials, including Bangkok (2018), Venice (2009, 2003), and Istanbul (2013, 2011, 2001), where they also served as curators in 2017. Their pieces are part of many international collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, and Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo.
