Detailed information

Product detailed description

The Feathers glass from the Pink collection by Rückl combines traditional Czech glassmaking with contemporary design. It was designed by Rony Plesl, who works with a delicate feather motif as a symbol of lightness, movement, and fragile elegance.

The distinctive hand-cut surface creates a texture reminiscent of frost patterns on glass, and together with the colour palette of the Pink collection, gives the glass a subtle yet expressive character. Each piece is unique, handcrafted in the Czech Rückl glassworks, where precise craftsmanship meets an innovative approach to design.

With a capacity of 200 ml, the glass is ideal for water, wine, or small drinks, while also functioning as a distinctive design object. Combine it with other pieces from the Pink collection.

Rückl is a traditional Czech glassworks with more than a century of history, renowned for its precision-cut crystal and distinctive decorative style. The brand was founded in 1903 and has gradually built a solid position among the icons of Czech glassmaking. Its work is based on master craftsmanship, hand-cut glass and a deep respect for a material that is symbolic of Czech culture.

The brand's current image is largely shaped by artistic director Kateřina Handlová. She grew up in a family of glass artists and has been involved with glass since high school and throughout her studies at UMPRUM. She gained experience abroad, including at the Dutch studio Thier & VanDaalen and at LASVIT, where she worked as a senior designer, and also worked in Dubai for several years. She also designed a collection of lighting fixtures for the Bomma brand. In her work, she combines an eye for detail, inspiration from fashion and oriental culture with a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship.

Under her leadership, Rückl brings a contemporary perspective to cut glass – bolder, more confident, and visually striking. Traditional techniques take on a new context here, and crystal becomes a medium for contemporary design expression. Each object is created in a Czech glassworks and is proof that quality craftsmanship and an innovative artistic approach can form a harmonious whole.

Today, Rückl represents a combination of historical heritage and modern aesthetics – a brand built on precision, courage, and the timeless beauty of Czech crystal.
