Product detailed description
This limited edition of 100 skateboard decks was created by Gregor Hildebrandt in collaboration with The Skateroom. The design is based on his “rip-off” technique using magnetic tape from carefully selected cassettes to create a mirrored pair of artworks. The first image was used for this edition of 100 decks, while the second was printed on a set of 25 signed boards. The tape features songs by Die Ärzte and The Organ — tracks that reference Hildebrandt’s youth and his connection to freedom and skateboarding.
Crafted from high-quality North American maple, the board functions as both a collectible and a fully rideable skateboard. The piece embodies the artist’s unique visual language rooted in sound, memory, and minimalist aesthetics.
