Product detailed description
Prague through the eyes of those who live in it. Where to find a good coffee off the tourist trail? Which neighbourhood is worth discovering? Where to shop for local design, and where to escape the city for a day?
Prague Superguide No. 8 is the eighth edition of an independent guide to Prague, written and edited in the city by locals. After ten years it returns in a new form: with a redesigned layout, expanded sections and an updated selection of restaurants, cafés, shops and photographs. It was published in August 2026.
Across more than 140 pages, it offers a personal selection of the most interesting things Prague has to offer. It introduces the city's neighbourhoods and shares tips on art and museums, local design, gastronomy and nightlife, as well as recommendations for exercise, running routes and trips beyond the city limits. The guide is clearly organised into four sections: Basics, Neighbourhoods, Supertips and Outside Of Prague.
This is not a list of obligatory landmarks. Prague Superguide is built on personal experience and candid recommendations, without paid promotion and without embellishment. The design was created by Julian Bender of Granada Hills Studio in Mannheim, Germany. Its pocket format is made to accompany you on walks through the city.
Who is this book for? For those spending more than a weekend in Prague, for newcomers who have just moved to the city, and for Praguers who want to discover lesser-known neighbourhoods and new venues. It also makes a thoughtful gift for friends from abroad.
