Product detailed description
WIGGLE ROUND Small Earrings are an original design by Kultivar, playing with the familiar shape of classic hoops. Their glass forms twist and curve into an organic silhouette, making every pair slightly different. Hand-twisted glass gives the earrings their distinctive character, while their smaller size keeps them light and easy to wear.
Each piece is handcrafted at a glassworking torch in Kultivar’s studio beneath the Ještěd mountain. The metal findings are made from surgical stainless steel with a silver-plated finish, making them suitable for sensitive skin. They pair just as naturally with a simple shirt as with an evening outfit, and can be complemented by the matching Wiggle necklace.

Kultivar is a glassmaking studio, creative hub and social enterprise rooted in the traditional craft of lampworking and glass blowing. Founded in Liberec in 2016 by Klára Jägerová, the space originally combined a shared workshop, the author’s own studio “U Kahanu” and a showroom for local artisans. Thanks to its generous premises, Kultivar soon developed into a vibrant cultural centre hosting events, exhibitions and hands-on workshops.
Between 2016 and 2021, Kultivar organised more than 150 craft workshops and numerous lectures and community events focused on sustainability, creativity and material awareness. It also served as a gallery and retail space supporting local makers.
After the pandemic forced the closure of its original venue, the project continued in pop-up form until 2023, when a new chapter began: together with Eva Jägerová, the studio was revived with a renewed focus on glassmaking. Today, Kultivar operates from Liberec’s Františkov district and brings together a team of six makers.
Kultivar’s mission is to preserve, teach and further develop the traditional lampworking technique. As a social enterprise, it prioritises sustainability — using primarily local glass, upcycling waste material, organising workshops on low-waste practices and creating employment opportunities for people who face barriers in creative craft fields.
More than 50% of the studio’s profit is reinvested into community development, making Kultivar not only a place of craftsmanship but also a meaningful cultural and social cornerstone.
