Cabinet of Electrical Curiosities by Mark Dion narrates Prague’s electrification through industrial relics from the Zenger substation site.

Detailed information

Product detailed description

Cabinet of Electrical Curiosities uses industrial objects—switches, lightbulbs, batteries, and more—collected at the former Zenger transformer substation to tell the story of the building from its 1930s origins to its modern conversion.

Arranged like museum relics on shelves, in drawers, and under glass, these components evoke the revolution of urban electrification that once powered Prague’s tram networks and transformed everyday life. Each selected object is accompanied by a concise commentary from technical historian Milan Guštar.
