Author: Taras Prochasko
Krtek is a reporter for the Forest Gazette, and when his wife needs to take a break and practice her contrabass, Dad takes the youngest of his thirteen little moles in his pocket to work. So Vrněnka and Tlapka begin to explore the world. And whether it's spring, summer or autumn, there's always something to see: a blue ball that hatches into a bird, a mole drowning in the river (and needs rescuing), or a little rabbit whose mother has gone missing... And snow, when it's just starting to fall. The story about how it is good to have friends and help everyone in need is aimed at readers (and non-readers) aged five and over. The book was written by Taras Prochasko and illustrated by Mariana Prochasko, contemporary Ukrainian artists who live in Ukraine despite the ongoing war and who publish their books in the Stary Lev publishing house. It was declared the European Publisher of the Year at the Bologna Fair in 2023.
