Earrings Beach Artifacts gold plated ag

Beach Artifacts earrings were created for the Oficina Playa fashion collection of Natálie Nepovímová.

The aesthetic of the collection is based on the concept of beach artifacts – often unidentifiable objects washed up from the sea. The jewellery is made by continuous layering of thin metal sheets resulting in the creation of complex structures – a technique developed by the designer himself. Each piece of jewellery is a unique, just like the washed-up objects found on beaches.

Ondřej Stára

Onřej Stára graduated in biomedical engineering at the Czech Technical University and the K.O.V. atelier at UMPRUM. His jewellery collections have been nominated for the Czech Grand Design award in 2018 award, and he also regularly showcases his work at the well-known Designblok festival in Prague. All of his jewellery is handcrafted with an emphasis on the quality of materials and workmanship, respecting the relationship between the jewellery and its wearer.
