W. Kandinsky Mug

Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian painter, graphic artist, art theorist and a teacher at the Bauhaus, as well as one of the pioneers of abstract art. The painting Composition No.8 suggests the importance of the circle in his future artworks. Kandinsky claimed that the circle is the synthesis of the greatest oppositions. It combines the concentric and the eccentric in a single form and in equilibrium. Of the three primary forms, it points most clearly to the fourth dimension.
