Kunsthalle Originals backpack

This sturdy drawstring backpack can handle a large picnic snack as well as a 13” laptop. It features an inside zippered pocket and a small outside pocket. For extra safety, this backpack is equipped with a reflective stripe that glows in the dark.

The silver part of each bag has been upcycled from a polyester fabric banner, which was a part of our previous exhibition KINETISMUS: 100 years of electricity in art. It featured a light-enhanced sculpture called Reclining Torso, created in 1936 by Czech kinetic art pioneer Zdeněk Pešánek.

Kunsthalle Originals collection was created in collaboration with Aussig and each individual piece was hand-sown by fashion designer Kateřina Krušková.

Kateřina Krušková's vision was to establish a brand that clearly represents her North Bohemian origin and attracts everyone intrigued by street aesthetics, brutalism, industrialism and "trash fashion". Kateřina studied product design in Ústí nad Labem, which led her to the concept of combining her style and techniques with practicality. The brand takes pride in its original and forward-thinking design and the quality of each individual item. All Aussig products are made of waterproof materials and feature various pockets and sliding straps.
