Product detailed description

Elmgreen & Dragset: Sculptures offers a comprehensive appraisal of Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset’s sculptural oeuvre from the mid‐1990s to today. Renowned for paradigm‐shifting works like Prada Marfa (2005) and Powerless Structures, Fig. 101 (2012), the Scandinavian duo constantly redefine how we experience art in public and gallery spaces.

Published alongside their fall 2019 exhibition at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, this volume is organized around the conceptual methods and aesthetic strategies the artists have developed. It features extensive photographic documentation of 112 sculptures, alongside five essays that examine their practice through art‐historical and thematic lenses.
