Two chosen wizards, Clerence and Eliot, are sent to find the so-called Time Magician, who is the only one who can eat the doughnut without causing the end of the world. But their journey is long and complicated. On their quest, they visit an elf hipster café, a graveyard in the middle of the dark woods, an ancient battlefield and a wizard academy for witches. Throughout their journey, they meet a lot of characters including the proud barbarian princess Noria, the necromancer Funus and a commander of the guards named Cedric. The story is full of wit, innuendo and references to today's pop culture. Nikkarin, a cartoonist and writer in one person, did a sovereign work with the comic language. The epic journey of a novice magician impresses with both the imaginative artwork on each page and the many humorous situations and pop culture references. This is a quality comic for teenage readers that could have a chance to succeed even in international competition.
