Lukáš Houdek

Lukáš Houdek graduated from the Academy of Arts Architecture & Design in Prague, and currently, he is working with Filip Houdek at HG ATELIER DESIGN as an artist. In his artistic work he creates a combination of materials, it is a dialog between a product design and fine art. Lukáš is enthusiastic about glass and light, traditional materials and high quality craftsmanship, and searches for new applications for traditional glass elements. He likes to focus on the topics of pop-culture and parody. Hyperboles and jokes are often characteristic for his work. His aim is to give spirit to things and to elevate them to beloved objects.
